A Year of Reflection Is Leading Us to The Year of The Strategy

I’m proud that we’re fighting the good fight with clients who are committed to DEI and preserving small businesses.

After laying the groundwork for success, cultivating it and levelling up in recent years, 2025 was a year of reflection. We did the hard work, asking ourselves who we are and who we want to work with.

As our discussions and planning brought everything into focus, we also recognized that our clients want something very specific, setting the stage for an all-new suite of services in 2026 — so read on for the preview! ;)

Finding Our Focus Through Reflection

Taking the time to reflect on the work we do at Snow Collective and the impact of the world we’re living in has been a profound experience. In the face of such a challenging economic and political landscape, defining who we are and who we want to work with was motivating and helped us gain focus.

We planned for 2025 to be the year that we would expand our reach beyond Canada. We stayed committed to moving into the U.S. market because we want to fight alongside and uplift the American businesses that remain deeply committed to progressive policies and practices.

Snow Collective is here to support the underdogs — the family businesses that want to stay family businesses, the companies owned by women, BIPOC, and 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, and those that are making a clear choice to continue supporting DEI.

This reflective internal work brought a lot of clarity to our strategy, and I’m inspired by where it’s leading us.

Working With Clients Who Are Taking a Stand

Honing in on values-aligned businesses has led us to some incredible clients this year. From building all-new brands to developing strategic campaigns and more, we are helping the organizations we work with stand out amongst the crowd. Here are just a handful of the clients we’ve collaborated with over the past year.

Dundee Recycling is a third-generation family-owned salvage yard and metal recycling company that is looking to grow and create competition in a rapidly consolidating industry—and we’ve worked with them to refresh their branding, and get the word out through Search Engines to accelerate their growth.

Hall Telecommunications was founded by a trailblazing woman over 50 years ago, and is co-owned by a trailblazing woman today! Specializing in the distribution of telecom, security, connectivity, and assistive living devices, Hall does important work such as bringing Internet access to Indigenous communities in remote areas.

The duo behind Pulse Law reached out to us to fully develop their brand, from the name and logo to a dynamic website that showcases their expertise and modern approach. Co-owned by a female queer lawyer, this innovative firm hit the ground running and has had such amazing success that they’ve already opened a second office in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Our newest partner is Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada, an inspiring organization that helps people in underserved communities and regions navigate their vision loss journey. We’re looking forward to spotlighting VLRC’s Eve Van — which brings eye exams and treatment to thousands of people in Northern Ontario — to generate funding needed to expand this service to other provinces. We’re only at the beginning of our relationship, but I know the work we do together is going to lead to decades of impactful services and growth for VLRC across Canada.

Growing the Snow Team

At Snow Collective, we bring together amazing talent with incredibly deep and varied experiences, and I’m thrilled about the three people who joined us this year.

JoAnne McCormick came to Snow to serve as our Fractional CFO after we met in a peer group. Under her leadership, JoAnne grew Colt Canada’s revenues from tens of millions to HUNDREDS of millions in just seven years, with the business centred around UN contracts with Commonwealth countries. Her incredible experience and expertise is supporting our strategic direction, and I couldn’t be more thrilled that she’s working with us to create the kind of change we want to see in the world.

We also welcomed our new Director of Sales, Linda Kern of The Kern Group. In addition to being a highly experienced sales growth strategist and sales process expert, Linda’s tailored, collaborative approach is a perfect match for how we team up with clients at Snow Collective.

We also partnered with Sanjay Padhiar, founder and principal consultant at IMA Consulting, to collaborate with Linda in optimizing and growing Snow’s business.

I’m excited Linda and Sanjay have joined us, and I can’t wait to see where our plans take Snow in the coming year and beyond.

We’re Heading into 2026 Focused on Your Strategy

With the challenges businesses are facing today, the number one service our clients are finding the most purpose and value in is strategy.

Whether they’re looking for the right approach for a standalone campaign or a full-year plan across multiple channels of business, we want to give them a roadmap.

To support strategy needs, we’ve created three new product offerings:

Campaign in a Box: an affordable, replicable, measurable way for a client’s internal teams to execute awareness and lead-generation campaigns.

Strategy in a Box: a full 12-month strategy, content plan, and budget for businesses and organizations that need their full plan mapped and path paved for the next year.

Multi-Line Strategy in a Box: this is Strategy in a Box across multiple lines of business, offering a tailored plan for each.

These comprehensive packages match goals and budgets, and we can’t wait to see how they take our clients to new heights!

A Huge Thank You to Our Clients and Partners

I want to take this moment to thank the incredible group of entrepreneurs and business leaders who put their trust in Snow Collective and collaborated with us to achieve great things. We are so grateful for your trust in our vision and expertise, and for your unwavering enthusiasm and kindness.

I also want to thank the Snow Collective team for your incredible creativity and passion. The work we do is great because we do it together.

In the face of this year’s challenges, I am so proud of our resilience and the ways we all came together to support and uplift each other.

As we head into 2026, I’m excited by all the possibilities that await us. I’ll be heading to Europe right after New Year’s Day to spend the winter in Portugal, Spain, and France — and I’ll be bringing that adventurous spirit (and warm weather energy) to every meeting with you. ;)

Here’s to another year of wonderful opportunities!

Dan, and the Snow Collective team
